This is unfiltered everyday shit. I'm India Sherelle. This podcast is a space for real conversation about life as it's actually happening. The good, the bad, and everything in between. It's unfiltered, it's honest, and it's unapologetic. So let's talk about it. Welcome. I'm India Sherelle, and this is unfiltered everyday shit. I've always been the person who loves adventure. I truly believe your life, your journey, your story. That is the adventure. And you can rewrite that story as many times as you want to. Sometimes people won't agree with your choices because they can't see how they fit into your story, and that's okay. That's not your problem. That's theirs. Treat life like a journey is meant to be lived, not paused. And as I always say, my life, my book, I can rewrite my story as often as I want to. Besides, my story is always unfolding in real time. I get to change it when I want to. It's my story. And so can you. Every once in a while I get this feeling like, let me look at the map. Not because I'm running, but because I remember I can go anywhere. I remember once one of my friends saying to me, what are you running from? And I was like, what? Running from what i'm me, wherever I go. And you can't hire from yourself. And one and more doesn't mean I'm running. It means I'm expanding. And I always tell people this. Don't let someone project their fears onto you. If they can't see themselves doing it, then they won't be able to see it for you either. That doesn't make your decision wrong, it just makes it unfamiliar to them. Over the years, I've had plenty of friends to call me when they wanted to move, change cities, change, whatever they wanna change in their lives. And almost every time there was somebody in the background telling them, no, don't do that. And my question will always remain the same. What do you wanna do? Because where you come from will always be on the map. You can always go back, but don't let fear yours or someone else's keep you from living. I've watched people hesitate. I've watched people stall. I've watched people finally take the leap. I remember helping a friend who wasn't ready yet. I did everything I could and she still didn't come. I didn't judge her. I just said, when you ready, call me. Months later, she did, and I guided her along the way. She struggled, she doubted, and someone close to her made a comment that almost sent her running back. And I was like, girl, don't let no rough patch stop you from what you accomplished too much. You better not go back. And she stayed. And today, honey, she's moved mountains in her life. I've seen this story over and over again. Different people, different paths, sames truths. There is no utopia. Life still happens no matter where you go. The question isn't. Will life be hard? The question is, are you choosing an environment that allows you to grow through it? Life isn't a straight road. Sometimes you're thinking you making the right and life says, mm-hmm. You need to make that left. So you pivot and eventually you'll find your way back to the road where you were meant to be on. Life is a journey. Is your journey, is your book. You can rewrite it, you can pivot, you can regroup, as many times as you want to. So I'll leave you with this question. When someone projects their fear onto you, how do you decide whether to keep moving forward anyway? Remember, this podcast is just freedom. This is me. It's a voice. It's somewhere. I can just speak freely. Thanks for stopping by and thanks for listening.
