Today did't go as planned - and that's exactly what this episode is about.  A delayed care, a broken strap, unexpected waiting... and a choice.

Instead of spiraling or stopping, I paused, pivoted and kept moving.  Sometimes the win isn't that everything works out perfectly.  Sometimes the win is simply deciding, "I'm going anyway."

If this episode resonated with you and you're working through something in your own life, I offer 1:1 session - a space to talk things out and gain perspective.

This is unfiltered everyday shit. And I'm India Sherelle. This podcast is a space for real conversation about life as it's actually happening. The good, the bad, and everything in between. It's unfiltered, it's honest, and it's unapologetic. So let's talk about it. Hi, I'm India Sherelle, and this is unfiltered everyday Shit. You know, what I realize is this, not every day is some big lesson or dramatic breakthrough. Some days are just life happening and how I move through it. That's the show. I process life out loud, and here's my theory. When you say things out loud, it helps you see them. You stay focused because you're not just thinking the thought. You are hearing it. Sometimes you don't need advice from anyone else. You just need to hear yourself say it. That's what today was. I woke up, my pocketbook strap broke, and mind you, I just purchased it. So yes, it's going back. Then my car wouldn't start, And for a moment I felt like the universe was trying to slow me down, but I had already decided I was going, I was going to see my kids and I wanted to surprise my daughter. And even though the car situation was inconvenient and frustrating, I was determined to go. So while I was waiting for someone to come give me a jumpstart, I didn't spiral. I didn't waste the time I used it. I went back upstairs and, handling a few things, and before I knew it, they were there. This episode isn't about the car. It's not about things going wrong. It's about determination. It's about not letting small obstacles turn into full stops, not everything needs to be wrapped up in the bow. Sometimes it's just acknowledging this happened and I still showed up. That's me processing life out loud and maybe sometimes that is exactly what we all need to hear ourself say. I'm still moving, so I'll leave you with this question. When your day doesn't start the way you plan, do you stop altogether? Or do you find a way to pivot and keep moving and what usually determines that choice for you? Well, that's it for today. Remember, this podcast is just freedom. It's an outlet. It's a voice.. It is a place where I can speak freely. Thanks for stopping by and thanks for listening.
